SUBJECT:               Fuel Primer Pump

APPLICABILITY:       Kitfox Lite

COMPLIANCE:          Mandatory

FROM:                   SkyStar Aircraft Engineering

SkyStar Aircraft has shipped two styles of fuel primer pumps for the Kitfox Lite, a large one and a small one. We have discovered the small one has a tendency to leak which could result in a hazardous condition. SkyStar is recalling the small fuel primer pump at this time. Figure 1 shows the large one installed and the small one next to it.  

ACTION:   Inspect the fuel primer pump that is installed in your aircraft or still in your kit.  If you have the incorrect one, please return it to SkyStar with reference to Service Bulletin #56.  Upon receipt we will send a replacement.
