SUBJECT:              Wing Lock Back Brace

APPLICABILITY:     All Series 5 Tail draggers

COMPLIANCE:       Mandatory

FROM:                   SkyStar Aircraft Engineering

It has been brought to our attention that the wing lock back braces for Series 5 aircraft may be susceptible to cracking on the sides of the hole in the bracket with repeated use. Because of this, we ask that you inspect the area surrounding the hole for cracking prior to each use. If there is any sign of cracks developing around the hole, do not use the braces to tow the aircraft. Call SkyStar's Customer Service Department at 208-454-1443 if you find cracks or have any questions.
