SUBJECT:    Mass Balance System

TO:    All Kitfox™ Owners - MANDATORY

It has been brought to our attention that there are some builders/owners who have not installed a Mass Balance Systems on their flaperons. Because this is a safety issue we must require all owners to install the Counter Weight System on their Kitfox™.

Those earlier model Kitfox™ owners who do not have the Mass Balance System may purchase the kit from SkyStar Aircraft Corporation.

A Mass Balance Retro-fit kit is available for all Kitfox™ models. At a cost of $90.00. Part Number 29011. Specify Model Aircraft and Serial Number. (This is the same price as offered in the Sept. 1989 Owners Newsletter.)
