Just what kind of Support does SkyStar Offer?

Is support really available to me, and can they help me get the airplane built?

Do I get to talk with someone that is knowledgeable, or just someone answering the telephone?

Will my aircraft be upgradeable with future changes?

How does SkyStar keep me notified of Service Bulletins (equivalent to AD's) and Service Letters (Suggested Maintenance or Changes)?

These and many more questions are asked by individuals evaluating their abilities to build an airplane.  Let's face it, this is not something everyone does!  You want help, and we will provide it! 

 

From the moment you receive your kit, you have direct access to the engineers that design them!  Those are the individuals we employ to answer the technical support line, and support emails.  Our customer service/parts department representatives are also always available to assist you in determining compatibility of various items and/or upgrades.

 

One of the ways we utilize to communicate with builders on service alerts/bulletins/letters is our electronic mailing list.  If you are a Kitfox™ owner, please take a moment and signup to the list.  We DO NOT share this information with other companies, and DO NOT believe in bombarding you with emails.  For more information on our privacy policy, please see our Privacy Information page.

 

Another resource available to you is access to our members only website, which contains build manuals updates, tips for various phases of the build, public posting of "How To's", and an ever evolving communications tool between you and SkyStar.  Membership to this site is automatic upon registering your aircraft, if you have purchased it used, or upon purchase of a new Kitfox™.  If you are evaluating us as an aircraft and company you are considering buying from, ask our competition how they handle their support.

 

The Kitfox™ Email list available for subscription in the menu is sponsored and managed by www.sportflight.com.  This is an independent organization that facilitates communication between Kitfox™ owners, and for a number of years has served as a focal point in connecting with other owners across the world.  Simply select the menu choice, your email program will open, then click send!  It's that easy.  You will receive a confirmation mail.  AFTER you have subscribed, to send messages to the list, simply direct an email to kitfox@sportflight.com.  You can also unsubscribe to that list through the menu.
