It all began with a
trip to the factory flyin September '94, I believe
shortly after Denny Aircraft became Skystar. I was
flying with my friend Phil Swensen who had just
finished a IV-1200. I became so entralled with the
notion that I could not resist building one for
myself. A 2 years and 800 hours of enjoyable
construction later my dream was realized. Classic IV,
Rotax 912ul, KLX 135 GPS/Com, King Transponder. It
has been an incredible journey. Trips to Oshkosh,
Southern Utah and the Idaho wilderness areas. The
Kitfox Classic IV continues to be my favorite
plaything.
